Six people were shot, including one who succumbed to his injuries when a shooter burst into a high school near Spokane, Washington on Wednesday morning.
According to the local newspaper “The Spokesman-Rewiew”, the assailant was apprehended by the police. “The shooter is in the back of a police car right now,” said Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich, taking stock of the situation.
The event occurred at Freeman High School, located south of Spokane, at approximately 10:00 am local time.
Three of the victims were rushed to the Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center. Institutional surgery director Michael Moore said eight operating rooms were ready to receive the injured. “Everybody is ready. We train regularly for this kind of situation, “the doctor said.
